Christianity and the LGBTQIA+ Community

A significant proportion of people believe and think that practicing Christianity and being member of the LGBTQIA+ community at the same time should be mutually exclusive: if someone wants to lead by example in one not only in the eyes of society, but even in front of himself, he must despise the other, exclude that from his own life.
While Christianity teaches about living and sharing love, the LGBTQIA+ community seeks to increase the importance of acceptance in people - emphasizing its natural, non-human origins -, the two areas are not yet able to think of each other as partners.
I believe that a person who professes both identities as his own, if he strives for a deeper understanding of one, to live faithfully, self-identically and sincerely that, then its development will have a similar effect on the other area.
